Looking good Carl:) One allways finds stuff worn, even racing a tiny Flathead;)! Bolts in engine/trans. plate are alot bigger. Also needed uppgrading from 7/16" to 1/2" CAT's rearend to frame munting.

  4. Buddy and Dale it was great seeing you guys again. Hearing the FlatCad in person is one of life's greatest rewards thanks for the opportunity to be a small part of it. You guys are always welcome at my place any time you come by. Besides who says you can't teach an ol dog new tricks, just watchin you two is a learning expierence.

If I was ever going to take the plunge to go drag racing, this is exactly how I'd do it. What's the history on the dragster chassis?

  18. tinmann its old chassis from late 60's early 70's. It had a lace paint job on it that's all I know and was setup for one of those OHV thingies.............. I had to do a bunch of work to make it legal for NHRA tracks even though its just for 0ver 10 sec, but what the hell that's fast enough for me at my age, runs straight and true............
All loaded up and ready for Eagle this weekend!!!!

  22. Well, I'll say it, congrats on your grandson's first pass. He was grin'n ear to ear on the return road (so was grandpa)!
