Technical rebuilt Ford 390 catches on fire when i try to start it

    so theres still no signs of damage at 200 miles, should i still worry about there being any damage?

    Drain same oil out into a shallow pan. Just a bit, not the whole lot. Take it in the sunshine and tilt the pan back and forth and look at the oil. If you can see metallic particles in the oil then you have a problem. If it looks clear, (discoloured is ok, just clear of metallic particles) then it looks like all is well.

    ok ill check for particles in the oil as soon as i have a nice day, its gonna be raining here for a few days & i cant fit the truck in my garage
