Can't wait. We need something around this neck of the woods again since we lost the pileup. Be there or be square....:D

That is one of the worse tracks I have ever been too !
Management does not know the left from the right, the track never gets Prepped. correctly, and the list goes on.
Haters........ I know you will be coming out of the woodwork, but if it were not for the fact of N.H.R.A. making big $$$ from the joint, it would be out of business just like it has so many times before. Sad but true, and for those of you that are going to run there for the first time, well you will see for yourself.

Wow ^ I guess you could do better. Remember the old gateway, mar, or pevely, or even the old Alton drag strip.

Thanks, that's my boy Maxx. He's going to be 6months old.

Is there drags too? I thought it was a car show, bands, and girls.

392, as a matter of fact I do I raced at everyone of those tracks, I am not too far from the old M.A.R.it had a little bit of a dip right before the 1320, two nostalgia races were held there every year for a long time. It is now a subdivision! Raced at Alton Ill. it is now a trailer park or at least it was about 10 years ago. Pevely was an 1/8th mile track with a very short shutdown area.A good friend of mine was killed in a very nasty crash on that track,no fault to anyone ,it was an accident and shortly there after they decided to have the dirt track oval only, and flea markets & this was long before Ken Schroeder bought the place.
Now on to Gateway I raced there starting in 1968 when the track went north to south & had a swamp at the end of the shutdown area, wooden bleachers for seats ,Stages nightclub came into the scene I believe when Larry Miner bought the place. Wed night was ladies night at Stages, grudge racing 1/8th & 1/4 mile racing.
M.A.R s timing tower is still alive and on a gentlemans property not far from my house.

I guess you are too young to remember Pacific Raceway Park a 1/4 mile track that was located in Catawissa ,Mo. never raced that one ,but did attend some meets there.

So as not to disrespect you , if you would like real information on these tracks just send me a P.M. I am like a walking encyclopedia brother, none of this Google Biz. here, only the cold hard facts, and lots of cool old storys about the days that were.
