Mine was white like yours when I bought it 13 years ago. I didn't want a white one and changed it to green. The color is a 1965 Lincoln color called 'Spanish Moss'.

    .
1961 Imperial LeBaron. Unrestored and all original and just turned over 20,000 miles this weekend.

Awesome. Like a bitch-slap of style to your face. What new luxury car has that kind of presence?

  7. My dad has a '60 Imperial coupe that he may come off of soon, needs a little work (been sitting for 5 years indoors, battery, carb rebuild, gas tank flush, PS pump), if anybody is interested, PM me.

  9. Not a great pic, but this is the 63 New Yorker I had back in the 80's.

    Hey! Nice thread!
I just bought my first Chrysler! Mr. 60 Chrysler himself sold it to me, also known as my dad, Peder Behr, the owner of the green New Yorker custom, and the white ht. The black one is mine and I'm about to fix it up a bit so I can enjoy the Swedish summer!

KOOOOL I really dig those 60 and 61 Chryslers and DeSotos!!!!!

  15. Bumpin' this up. My buddy picked up a '60 that he's redoing. But, I've noticed by looking around that you don't see too many of them customized much. Maybe that's because they were damn near perfect right from the factory.
Still, I think one of them would look righteous with Astros and a Watson-style paint job. I did a quick photochop...
