Technical Dumb question. .phaeton vs roadster difference?

    I'm ignorant concerning these. What are the differences in 28-29 phaeton vs roadster? Can you change a phat to a roadster with quarter, and sail panels?

    There are no sail panels (C pillars). And, no, you cannot.

    Any on else... I know the four door crap... anything is doable, let me re phrase... are the doors different length than the roadster doors. Sub frame Can be changed, quarters and C pillar added. I was just unsure about the door length.

    The P'ton is the same as a Roadster from the back of the front doors to the grill shell. After that it's a whole different animal. You will need P'ton specific pieces to make up the seat back to the rear panel. It'll be worth it though. P'tons Rule!

    But to make a P'ton a Roadster you will need to order some Brookville rear quarters and the whole ass end for a Roadster including the trunk lid or rumble. A new Subframe and viola you will have a roadster.

    But why would you want a roadster when you could have a P'ton ;-)

  6. It would be more cost effective to sell the phaeton body and buy a roadster body.

    Or ya build the Phaeton and haul around friends!
     
  8. Ok, you'll have a lot of trouble finding c pillars and sail panels for a roadster. :p
    You Might have to make those.
