Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

got a bunch of things done on it that dont look like anything and got to puts on some more of the detail stuff, got the choke heat riser tubes ran, also mounted the coil and wire up that, also mounted my vintage allstate adjustable regulator (old cover on new regulator now). got the starter installed, solinoid mounted and some of the battery cables run too.

also dug out my old chrome dash and getting it ready to go in.

  22. You've got a real well done body work wise show hot rod!
Has to be a history on this car!!!!!!
It looked to be cobbled up in the chassis and susp but is that lead on the body?
If so there was $$ spent on that car someplace. Not a lot of good artistic lead men around back then. The engine and tranny threw me for a minute. To new!!! I'll bet you'll find someone with guesses to where it comes from. Magazine readers too?

Yep, the top was gas welded and leaded, who ever did that work did a nice job, from there it went down hill! so now most of that is fixed.

I had heard carcraft and dug thru all of mine and found some pics of ones that looked like it but no cigar.
