I've been reading threads on here once in a while for a year or two but never quite got around to taking part.

A friend and I have a small street rod shop in the outskirts of St. Louis and build mostly cars from the 30's. I raced for many years starting in 1960. Ran mostly gas and altered class until late '66 when started running for AMC with a '66 American is top stock. Got Hurst S/S AMX for the '69 season and ran for a local dealer and stayed with AMC till '71. Ran an injected small block in an old Austin Healey for a couple years nicknamed the "wheelie Healie" then went to dragsters for a few years. Run only once in a while now, in a streetable altered type roadster we built in the street rod shop. I drive a '31 Ford coupe every day, rain, shine, or snow.

Don't know much about computers, guess I'll have to ask my grandkids to show me how to post some pictures of some of our projects. I picked several but they don't appear to be here???

Shop is in the Murphy Flats area of Fenton, Mo. Address is 1080 Gravois rd. Visitors always welcome but I am a one man shop most of the time and have to do my own running so the shop is often empty even during working hours.
