Who ran thier car at the last nostalgia drags at sealy tx,tech question

My kid wants to run my old pick up at the upcoming drags,the flyer says run what ya brung on friday night.its not fast maybe 14.0 sec. my question is what do they check to pass tech? the flyer says ihra safty rules will be followed,i looked them up and i would need to get a scatter shield,clutch etc. was hoping some of yall that ran last year can set me straight .thanks John
