    Hi has any one got info on stroking a 283chev, it's going in my 53 Blair. I could go a 350 but don't want to.

    Ever heard of a 307? All factory parts.......283 block,327 crank

    Your 283 will run just fine! I like them better than any 307 I had.

    Don't we all...

    283s are awesome little engines!
    And they wind up like an 8 day clock!

    Find a small journal 327 and put that 283 crank in it. 4 inch bore and 3 inch stroke!
