  3. Jay,
Thanks for posting the pictures of my car. Your camera is soooo much better than mine.
Well, after two total knee replacements and lots of time on the couch, it's time to finish this car.
And thanks to all for the interest in the car. Like the butcher said as he slipped into the meat slicer - "Well, it won't be long now!" See ya down the road.

Here are some updated pics of Jim's coupe. We are in he process of wiring it and buttoning up all of the little things. It won't be long now. We test fitted the hood and grill shell, made the battery cables, and gabbed up a mount for the electronics and the coil.

  17. So different with those rear wheels on there. I'm used to seeing the street slicks. The wiring looks good.

Nice looking car. Is that a normal amount of wire, or was it bought in bulk? Bob

  19. 37 Kid, that is the wire that you get with a Speedway kit. We haven't found any that were too short so far.

Got some voltage flowing today. We now have tail/ license plate lights, dash lights, and a dome light.

Here are some more pictures of progess. The motor is almost ready to fire, just need to finish up the plug wires and a couple of other small details and she should light off. BTW it might be hard to read but that is genuine Packard 440 wire and Rajah terminals.... Yeah the neighbors aren't gonna be too happy when she motors down the road. '41 Ford blue, Washington blue pinstriping...'factory style'. Some of the unwashed will swear this car was found in a museum; then, partially disassembled; cleaned, then bolted back together with a few 'modifications'.
    True textbook Deuce build. Details.
Riviera valve covers (another 'factory' goodie) rollup rear window...
Siggy makes stuff look easy...looks like it just 'slid together'...see the fit of everything.
    Exceptional.
