Thank you sir, since the few changes in the stance I'm liking it a lot too. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Not much right now, dealing with steering woes. Cleaning up this old box and trying to figure out the best way to get it put together. When I went to pull the OG wheel it split the shaft so out comes the saw. No big deal has to be shortened anyway. But I've got to find a new splined, threaded section to weld and pin back on. Liking this 46 wheel. So there is and there isn't much going right now, gathering parts, but my head is CONSTANTLY working on it! Pinching penny's for the trans adapter... I like fab work, so I'm really wanting to get the engine and trans in the chassis so I can start building exhaust and the intake. I've got two 97s now, so I'm hunting 2........or 4 more! Got in my 37 ford pitman arm. not only did i find out what is best to use, but also how to make it work from a fellow here on the hamb. Nice guy and really helpful. With a little work it will work just fine... I've been filing down the keyed splines in my spare time. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

What's the state of the Hemi? Does it need a rebuild? Not sure if I missed it but what are you running for a transmission?? Good stuff man!!
Yes, it needs rebuild, I bought it taken apart. It's in good shape though.. Heads are with my machinist now. As soon as they come home I'll start with the low end... I'm using a 4 speed Muncie for a tranny. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I've been hoarding a '56 354 hemi for years. You've given me inspiration to finally start getting into it. Nice work on your coupe.
I hope so, I was originally thinking about the Chrysler A833, then I started looking at the prices of parts to get it in there... Much higher. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Well we got through roundup. I haven't been very active on the A because I was trying to make my old beater chevy look as good as I possibly could before the show. Our club kind of starts all of the car season activity with round up, so we all push as much as we can before hand. Needless to say I have been very busy, with not just my junk but friends as well. Some of you saw this little re-build on here.. He is a good friend and a 19 year old with his head in the right direction. He kept me busy building his headers for a while. He is chance dean on here. Wanted to show him some love because the story on this car is so great... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
In the midst of things a great friend and upholstery man was fighting to get the interior done in my 54. I'm thrilled with his work. And if I can convince him he will be hired for the coupes interior as well. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Anyways, enough with my rant and excuses... Back to the coupe! Engine mounts, even though I'm straight whupped after this weekend, there was just to much inspiration out there to not get something done... And my favorite new edition to the A, Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
