Projects 29 A, 2" drop crossmember?

will a 2" drop crossmember work in a 29 A with the stock radiator? doesn't look like theres two inches to go up without messing up the rad mounting.

 

I'm not familiar with a 2" drop in a model A front cross member but I'm pretty sure it won't work. HRP

 

If the drop is to achieve a lower front stance, I doubt it...
