Technical 263 buick inline motor parts dilemma

    So I finally tried getting my 52 buick special running yesterday only to find out an rocker arm adjuster was broken in the very back of the motor.

    So far the is the only thing I've found online

    I gave my local napa guys a sample but they haven't found anything similar yet

    A great source for pre-war and most all Buicks up to 1949 is Dave Tacheney in Champlin MN.

    Back when everyone fixed things instead of "sourcing replacements", we would file the broken end flat, then cut a new groove ... the operating part isn't hurt, right ?

    Have you contacted any of the Buick parts dealers advertizing in Hemmings Motor News?
