    Neat old coupe!!

  10. I would get it running, maybe a bit newer OHV V8, lower it down a bunch, redo enough of the interior so it is usable, and then drive the crop out of it. Great find there and one of my favorites, 36 Ford coupe, both 3W and 5W do it for me!

I have a couple of them and can't seem to get enough, keep them on the road !! You have a standard 5W but you have deluxe gauges. A deluxe has a 4 digit odometer, a standard only 3.

Nice find Chris! Are you keeping it or flipping it to fund your other projects?

Amazing find. Damn some people have all the luck . Great to see it back on the road!

  15. I did a double-take when looking at your pics; it looks so much like mine the day we brought
it home in 1960, right down to the grille guard and missing hood ornament. Paid $50 for it,
(less engine and trans.), then paid about the same for a repro hood orn. 20 years later!

    Good luck with the project..

  16. Too nice for me! Great score!

Sorry if I'm repeating myself but I just felt the need to thank chris once more for allowing me the privelage of owning the 36. The reason I'm posting again is cos I've just got her delivered to my house at 6pm today uk time. I'm absolutely over the moon....I will try to start a thread on her new life in Scotland

Hopefully the pics I have will load.....the foam on the front bumper is so that I can push her back into the garage after working on her. I took a week cleaning a thick sticky mess off the floor pans....it saved the car...there's only one bad part at driver side front and the very rear of floor pan. I've ordered two tail pans one for the coupe and one for my sedan to cabrio project....bob in Scotland image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Your ability to find these treasures is amazing! It reminds me so much of my late Father. Have fun and look forward to future threads on this beauty!
