    Hey guys

A good friend and I a travelling California and Nevada from April 15 until May 12. We start in Los Angeles and then directly to Viva Las Vegas (with a small stop at Moon Eyes Santa Fee on the way).

Maybe you guys could give us some tipps where to go like parking lot meetings in the area, swap meets, surfing...

    Any ideas are much appreciatet!

    Thanks

Too bad the Pomona Swap Meet is April 13, just before you get here. It looks like you will miss The Long Beach swap meet as well. There is the NHRA museum in Pomona as well as the Petersen Museum in LA. Also the RIAM the Riverside International Automotive Museum has lots of racing stuff and is still open I believe.

When you are in Las Vegas, you might want to visit the Caruso Racing Museum. It's located just down the street from the Orleans, in Micar Fabrication, 5166 Arville St, Las Vegas. It is small but interesting.

The Mullins Museum in Oxnard, open every other weekend. It isn't parking lot, but it is a seriously sick collection that should not be missed by anyone.

  12. If you're going to get your kicks on Route 66, don't miss the Wigwam Motel in Rialto CA., between Los Angeles and San Bernardino. Google "Wigwam motel" for more info.

Don't forget the nhra museum, the Peterson museum, and you can stop by whiskey Pete's on your way to Vegas and look at a 34 ford full of bullet holes
