Well pooh.... this sounds like it would be a hoot. Unfortunately that is the same weekend as our local swap meet where we have had a booth for so long we are a tradition there. We have 4 flathead cars, 2 Plymouth 6's and 2 fords. The swap meet is always the 3rd weekend in September.

We'll all have to hope for great weather again. My calendar is marked for the twentieth. I'll look forward to any other band.

Might go might not. The motorcycle cannonball (pre 1937 from Daytona beach to Tacoma) is due to arrive the same day!

Marked on calendar. I say it every year, but I'm gonna make it this time, even if I have to pack-in the kid who'll be two months old then. Either in the Studebaker from Coulee City or the Model A from Tacoma...

Come anyway, Chris has pull. He can get you a private showing with them (GCR) while you are in Spokane.

Yeah!! Looking forward to it. September 20th 2014 ...okay:)

And much closer for me... heck Wenatchee, that's just a day trip to the big mall ...maybe 140 miles south, with a side step West towards Monitor

And so... what's for music? Perhaps... "Theremin, Assolo" featuring Panda!!

  13. Btt- I'm excited to see how the new location turns out. We are 4 months away!

I guess I could drag a flathead head behind my race car, slow me down a little so everyone could keep up

The only reason you think your gook rod is so fast is because whoever you were racing let off after leaving you in their dust and you kept trying. Looking forward to this again this year.

110 degrees in my shop, can't wait for September, and the Flathead run !!! Chris

  25. Just over 2 months to go!!!

  26. the feedback i have been hearing is you guys taking back over is bringing out more local hot rodders for friday nights! you guys should look into taking on the run that used to be at the confluence park since their is camp ground across the highway. from what i hear having it in e. wenatchee has just about killed it.

  27. I have heard a couple of complaints from guys down south that now have to drive further...but otherwise have not heard a peep either way. People will either come or they wont. If we get there and only us Emperors are there, we will still have a blast. This is just a fun run to get your old car out and drive it.
