No major updates, things have been slow. But I've got a rocker in and part of the floors. One step at a time right? I found out the car had been wrecked pretty bad at one point in time and while I had the body off, I straightened the frame. Needless to say that when the body went back on, nothing lined up anymore. But final the body is straight again. Talk about a setback.

From hearing how twisted the body was when you tried to bot it back down to the now straight frame I just imagine you inside the car in some weird Twister type pose trying to push it all in 90 different directions to get it to line up haha.

He's still looking for a merc grill opening for the car and a good straight drivers door as well guys if ya happen to have either of those ;)

  3. I'm not a Ford guy but I like this car and the build, great job.

Richie I think they just read higher then they really are because of the massive step in the frame.

Well.... This was my first time doing this. I think I might have done it wrong and will probably have to change it. But that'll have to wait for now

Yeah, they're really only about 2 1/2 inches tall. I was trying to keep them parallel but if they were any lower, they'd intercept the frame.

Rather them be in the way if the floor than in the way of the road haha

Oh yeah they're definitely in the way of the floor. But really the whole thing is in the way of the floor lol. Just going to have to make some fancy floor pans back there. Fortunately I'm not cutting up any good metal. Thanks for the inspiration man :). One way or another this thing will get done one of these days :p

No updates other than I picked up a parts car. Let me know if you need anything off of it.
