  2. Nice Starliner! I love them! Can´t wait to see it back on the street! Keep us updated:)

I have a 1960 Ford Wagon since a few months now but it seems to be pretty hard to get parts for it like rear glass weatherstrips or window channels for example. Where do you order parts for your car? Steelerubber, macs, kanter? Any other shops you know?

Getting closer. Color sand, buff and polish then start putting it together.

When I was in high school one of the local "older guys" bought a new 1960 Starliner with the 360 horse 352. Local legend is that the hiway patrol tried to catch him one night and in hilly SW Iowa he just drove away from them. I have a soft spot for 60 Fords because of that.

  9. I'm totally in agreement, I've owned a 60 Sunliner and a 64 Park Lane, both convertibles in the past.

I was stationed on the Island of Guam in '60,, and saw the Starliner in the parking lot. I walked around that car for at least an hour. Have not lost the vision,, etched in my memory forever. Beautiful car.

Always liked the customs where a builder grafts a starliner roof onto a bullet bird. Seems like a natural the factory should have thought of.

We ran out of time before my parents 50th anniversary party and did not get the door glass in but my dad did not notice until later because he was in shock. He thought we found a car that was almost identical to his and rented it for the day. He kept walking around it pointing stuff out saying "this is looks exactly like mine the day I picked in up" (in 1959). It was a great day! Don't think he really understood until the next day that the car was his. Car came a long way from the day I picked it up.

Wow, that really came out great, & a great thing you did for your dad! Hat's of to ya. Count me as a Starliner fan. The oldman bought a new '60 Galaxy 2drht in white, 352 HiPo. I always wished it was a Starliner.:D

  16. Be still my beating heart! You did a fantastic job on that car. I had 3 friends that owned one of them back in the early sixties all with the 360 hp 352. One of my favorite cars.

I know where one is sitting & rotting away. Looks like it needs major floor repair. I tried to buy it a few times. The owner isn't selling. Great body style on these. I will try again...

Would love to see a photo of your Dad setting in his new car. Bet there would be a shit eating grin from ear to ear. Nice job. This picture is one of my favorites. Looks so much like yours. It is my screen saver.

My compliments on an excellent job on my favorite year 60s Ford. A 60 Starliner or Tudor Ranch Wagon are on my desire list
