Hot Rods steering wheel I.D.

What did it come off of.. Thanks in advance...

Not trying to be a smart ass , could it have been from a 1950/60 boat it has the look of a old boat we used to have

 

That's the best guess so far.. It does fit a spline shaft if that's any help...

 

Its from a 1940s hudson
it could be from a truck, or a base model car.
I just picked up the same steering wheel out of a 47 hudson sedan.
