Like the title says. Im going to Las Vegas for a week on tuesday and wondering if there are any must see things for a hotrodder. Also into rockabilly tunes too. Thanks- Q
Go out to the speedway...several interesting things to see. They have the driving experience where people rent semi-exotic cars and drive them around a flat track. Cool to see them spin out. So_Cal Vegas sometimes has cool cars in their sales area Just down the road from so-cal is the guy who makes stainless radius rods/wishbones....dont know if he wants visitors Drive out to see the dam and the dam bridge....neat for about 3 minutes or so
do an internet search for the imperial palace car collection (quad) / in the past I've scored some free tickets- they have been there in the past, just print them out.
The "Quad"? Sounds like a name for a building on a college campus, not a Las Vegas Casino. Wait, let me guess, the Imperial Palace was sold, and bought by some dot.com billionaire shithead with no sense of tradition, and who thinks "The Quad" is a hip name. I hate getting old.
i think theres a socal shop there also. in and out burger just off the freeway is a must when I go to Vegas(they have a factory store on site if you want any in and out shirts, ect, ect, ect).
Not really a car thing but I hear the Neon Museum is pretty cool. They have over 150 old neon signs from early days of Vegas.
No, Harrahs owns it still, they just renovated it and are going for a younger crowd. They are building " the high roller" at the linq too with another whole street of bars going to it. The high roller should be opening any day if not already and you should go there if it is.
look here, lot's of car shows this time of year https://www.facebook.com/pages/Las-Vegas-Car-Shows-Cruizes/361260020681238?ref=profile
