Here's something I threw together with some inspiration from old alien invasion films. Other than the glass and wiring, this was made with all old car parts.

That's really cool, Rollie. It reminds me of my garage, only cleaner. Are you going to put a glass top on it? Encase it in resin?

I welded it upside down on a 1/2" plate table, blasted it, then gave it a coat of gun blue, then scotch pad, then satin clear...looks good with the glass but hard to photograph

How about zooming out so we can see the other work of art?!!! I miss your thread since the site changes! Do you have another thread going on anywhere else documenting the build?

I was going to make some book shelves out of model t running boards but changed my mind. I made some mounts on the back to hang them off the wall then used a model a headlight bucket for 2 of them and an 8ba conrod and piston for the other 2, i then got some old valves and tig welded them together and added a large and small washer to give it the logo, i also welded another 2 valves so i could have a little shelf. All sprayed in Sir Henrys favorite colour.

Next on the list was to make a Claysmith cams sign to go with my Moon eyes sign.
The hardest bit was making the border, a lot of rolling, folding and welding.

Same as the one I used here. "antique style" bulbs, or sometimes called "Edison style" but that really only refers to a specific style and brand

You and I think alike. Last summer I got a couple of funning boards from GMC Bubba and a couple of weeks ago made a bookshelf outta them and a couple of carved tikis I had in the house.

Looks cool Denise. Just don't let Mark Skipper get too close to it or he'll take it home. :D
