I thought it would be a simple deal. Just find a Buick parts dealer and buy a new centre drive shaft support bearing assembly.

    Apparently not.

The 63 is a unique one I'm told. That wouldn't be a problem in itself except it seems like nobody ever bothered to reproduce or continue to produce them.

Anyone who deals in this stuff or knows where I might find such a rare beast, your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Pete

Have you tried Empire Inland Driveline? I'd call or email them. They make great Chevy carrier bearing.

Obsolete Buick Parts just google it. He will want your old one as a core. I replaced mine with one from him and when I called he was a wealth of info.

Thanks for all the replies guys. JJK, that would have been great but I kept searching and found one at Classic Buicks. I'll keep the old one as a core in case I ever need to go that way in the future.
