Thinking of chopping my sedan. Please let the photo shop gods do their thing......or should I leave it? Thats the question.

Don't! It looks fantastic the way it is......It's got a nice 60's early 70's vibe to it.

You should take the pics to the photo shop thread. It'll get more attention. And that car doesn't need a chop.

    No chop..............

  5. That car rocks just as it is. Stance, wheel and tire combo, color….everything. It's dead on. I like chops, but this one I like just as it is. That's my worthless opinion. :)

  6. If you do decide to chop it I would make it a very minor chop. Something in the order of 2 to 3 inches. If it were mine I'd leave it as is though!!!

i know it's sad when a project comes to a end, no more hunting for just the right parts, hitting swap meets, looking at e-bay, but don't do it! it's too perfect. start another one if you must.

  11. Go ahead and chop it and make it look the same as the rest, OR..... you could just leave it as the perfect looking sedan it is. JW

Plenty of 'over' chopped model A's around and on here, - nice to see a stock height one for a change. Please leave it as it is!

I am a guy who really likes chops, however, must agree with most here your car looks perfect just the way it is, the perfect stance.....................

  14. Your car, your decision. Will look great either way if ya don't chop it more than 4 inches.

I tend to agree with the majority here...I like it as is. However if you were to chop it maybe just a 2 or 3 inch mild...

Hell no, if you're itching to change things why not think about some wild paint and upholstery? (not to say the current configuration doesn't rule)

I like the look you have, but if you decide to give it a chop I wouldn't go more than 3".

    NO!

It looks as though you took a stock/restored body and dropped it on a Hot Rod chassis.
If you chop that car you'd really need to rework the rest of it; get rid of the black fenders and beltline paint two-tone. Deep six the cloth roof, stock tailight, etc.
If you only chop it w/o the rest of the mods, it'll look like a stock model A that's been chopped.
Your Sedan looks perfect as is. If you want a hammered Sedan, start shopping for a Sedan body and start another project.

If you have had the sedan for awhile and still like it but want a change, then go ahead and chop it.. You may be glad you did and you can sell the chopped pieces to someone who is sorry they chopped theirs...

I think it looks great the way it is.....but if you're after another look, why not go with a different wheel/tire combo.......
