Heres one I own, that I am looking for info on,
I got the pic from Bill Carroll (Carroll & Taylor Willys) he owned the car in the 70's-80's, before Bill got it, it sat behind a gas station in Ft.Lauderdale FL. when Bill bought it, he was told it was a Gasser from Kansas.
    raced with:
    425 olds dual quads
    4 speed Hydro trans
    olds rear, long ladder bars

Very cool colored photo. Hadn't seen that one. Larry has started working on the car again. 2 hand surgeries that didn't go well. Working on the chassis. Will be updating the "Beside the barn willys find" thread soon.

I looked that one over too and it seemed like a pretty decent car. At 60k, that must be his "I really don't want to sell it" number. :D

  19. Hey,
    Mike...how's California.
That was a fun trip...c'mon it will make it this far anyway. Hoppi's fine...wanted to get his '41 PU in the GSTA show, but his pole barn is still snowed in. His wife however is having a difficult time with her MS, and has been in the hospital since early January...not good!!
Almost have my '36 sedan done...maybe this summer...if it ever gets here.

That was my neighbors car Dick Ferry. I was only 11 and lived around the corner from him. My brother would say " listen Mr Ferry is firing up the Willys" He bought it from the Hill&Hill Bros then sold after a couple years. He was big into GTO's after that.

Post 4629, Rapid Transit Willys was owned by Tom Sharp of Ashtabula, Ohio and ran an injected 426 hemi. I crewed on it part time. It was the Kananan Bros Gasser from the sixties, I believe it held B/Gas record in 69 and 70. Tom was killed in it at Thompson raceway and the car was parted out
