You can try Ben Walkey, he does a lot of aluminum machine work for hot rods, and he does great work, and reasonable. -- Dash Manufacturing, LLC. 618 Madison St Viroqua WI 54665 608-637-7167 Owner, Ben Walkey
I ran a wieand with great success. They only made 20 8-671s. It was made for 97s only.Im not sure how many other manufacturers there were back then.
A couple of close friends of mine own and run Imperial foundry here in Washington. They are the ones casting and machining the 8 deuce 6-71 blower tops and they are really nice. If you are interested P.M. me and I will give you contact info.
RE: Saltracer219's Post.....I just bought on of these from this foundry on Ebay.....BEAUTIFUL CASTING, it will fit 94's or 97's...don't like to PooPoo anyone else product, but I think this is the nicest on on the market right now...and it was Darn Reasonable Price Wise....email me at [email protected] and I will send you the link
Imperial speed and custom in washington makes a nice piece but the carbs are way to close together and makes the linkage..very hard.... to work with. The 8x2 intakes that I have has lots of linkage room, witch gives you room for different air cleaners.
I have a 6x2 setup that I recently built with 6- 2110's on a Weiand blower intake and a 1.5" riser plate. PM me for details......IT IS FOR SALE
They have them on ebay now http://www.ebay.com/itm/671-Blower-...prg=20131017132637&rk=2&rkt=4&sd=151256833190 Way less than I paid for my weiand 8-671
Are intro's still required or did that go the way of the old format. The "hey how much is it worth" is still valid isn't it Pat
Ryan has come out and said they are NOT mandatory it's in a thread somewhere. But he did say it is polite to do one.
