Now that you have the stainless on the bottom, I am curious to see how the edges of the wood bed will look up against the side panels. Will you build a trim cap or ?

Cool, I am glad you have that ramp setup. The bed looks great! That think is almost too nice to be hauling cars now :D

    Keep up the good work.

After seeing your new center grill bar, I ordered one for my truck. My original 41 piece had been dented and poorly straightened. So glad they make that in reproduction now. I looked for years for another one.

  10. do you need to shorten it to fit your grill ? is a 41 grill a one year only model ?

  11. you mean the rubber pads just like the ones that go under the headlight stand to fender ?

Will not have to shorten the center bar. My grill bars are just shifted downwards 5 or 6 inches, As for the gasket, there is a small gasket (2" tall) that fits between the headlight stand and the park light assembly. They are made by: Mike Woodard. He might be here on the forum. I will PM you his email address.

I love it! But I though the traditional seat for the first drive was a 5 gallon bucket or a milk crate, not a box? :D

    Wonderful!! :D

(I sure hope I can say the same thing about my truck build before too long.)

  26. That's just SO cool and inspirational, too! Congrats on your first run.

  27. Sweet! I like the ramp groove, but you might want to consider something to keep them in it if they aren't trimmed perfectly flat with the ground. They tend to jump up as the car rolls up on them otherwise.
