I have yet to get these things to seal. am I the only one? s10 v8 swap headers on my 53 ford car.

  2. I had the same problem with a set from them. Used SPEEDWAY extreme gaskets and sealing problem was solved. And SPEEDWAY says they are re useable = GOOD LUCK! Mikey,

I have two av8's with Sanderson headers and haven't had a leak problem, a friend also has two av8's and no problem with his either. I use just a smear of high temp rtv on the sealing area when installing.

My $0.02 is two Sanderson header installs with no gaskets other than their high temp goop and no leaks in a couple years.

I have Sanderson Limefires on my 27 and have always used header gaskets on them. Every few years they dry up and crack and I just replace them, but I get no leaks when the gaskets are not aged.

I know their ads say no gaskets needed, but I am just old fashioned.

  10. what Big-Foot said...worked for me. Use a liberal bead of RTV.
