CHiPs episode gasser 55 chevy???

There was also an Adam 12 episode with Two Lane Blacktop 55 in it. It was used as a get away car by some bank robbers, I believe.

If I remember right, Tommy can't drive so......Walter Brennan puts on the fire suit and wins the big drag race.
From the little info I can find, it appears that the 80 year old Brennan wasn't too thrilled about being crammed into the cockpit!<!-- / message -->

 

I spent almost an hour watching an old trashy TV show, reminded me why I gave up TV many years ago. The HAMB is much more fun.

 

Do you have the old Highway Patrol show where the guys were using a cool old flathead to rob banks for the getaway car ?

 

Gary Tommy told me he thought they were going to cut his dragster apart to get him out of it lol.Then they looped a rope under his arms and pulled him out.I also have the Highway Patrol with the roadster in it. It is a Olds engine I think.

 

Did you ever come across the episode with the Twister T in it? If not do you know the episode it was in?

 

The Twister T was in a episode of The New Breed tv show called Thousands & Thousands of miles. Also a episode of Window on Main Street with Robert Youmg and Anne Helm. I don't know the name of that episode but sure would like to find it.

I still watch chips on some Charge network. It kills me how many solid cars they wreck for accident scenes. Not much HAMB friendly stuff but really solid late sixties, early seventies two door muscle cars, nice Cadillacs, etc.

 

That is what I caught it on ! I didn’t think to record it when I seen it phone was in other room , realized it was a dream sequence and ran and got the phone to record rest of it….just thought to share. Waking a dead thread keeps it alive for new kids to see.
