No problem!:D. What you probably thought was..." if this retard can get motivated to finish his car, then i can certainly do it!" Right?

Nothing fancy here. I Just cut a piece of 1" square tubing for the header. And I only have 3 cross braces of 1" tubing to support the roof and seems to be working fine. [IMG] [IMG]

I had a friend of mine did the upholstery. He sewed headliner fabric to the vinyl so it looks nice underneath. We used button snaps that we screwed in the original nail holes on the upper sheet metal. And he sewed what he called "j-clip" to the front of the vinyl. You just roll that plastic j clip under and clip it to the visor. It stays unseen and has survived 120mph. [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG]

Starting to look like a car again. I have a ton of more work ahead of me. It will probably stay in primer for a while until I can afford paint and decide on a color. [IMG]

Did an ol' "rattle can rebuild" on the heater grill. Notice the cool head on the little bolt in the center. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Guide coat , sand , guide coat, sand and repeat. I'm thinking I will tint my next coat of primer green. Close to what my paint is going to be. Not really for any other reason then I think it will look better until I am ready for paint( which may be a long while). [IMG]

Here is a fresh coat of the green primer I mixed up. Pretty cool to see the car with some color on it. I'll get some better pics in the daylight tomorrow. [IMG]

This is not the color the paint will be. But it will work for now. [IMG]

Making all of the templates for the windows out of ¼"particle board. I've suffered through way to many road trips without glass. I can't wait for some winders! [IMG]

Here's my buddy Zane grinding on my windshield. Should be a huge improvement over plexiglass. [IMG]

I tried using a friends roller and bending up a 15" ring...needless to say it didn't turn out great. [IMG]

So I scrapped the roller idea and took apart an old 50's junk table.

Cut the spokes out of the old ring. [IMG]

Welded up all of the holes in the table ring and the spokes, then welded the spokes to each other. [IMG]
