That's gotta be good for a tenth in the quarter right? Curvier grill and smaller head lights?

    Lookin good

  4. You've heard it enough times from me but that grill is perfect on there! Much better than in my attic. I sure hope you plan on coming east again this year, I want to see it in person!!

The new '32 shell looks great! I liked the A shell too, but this looks just as good! Very slick gas cap as well!

This keeps getting better. I'm reeeally liking the changes.

  7. That's REALLY cool. Your car looked good before with the A grille shell, but the Deuce shell puts it in a whole 'nother category. Way to go...bringing it to Balto this fall?

  8. You just keep making it better and better!

  9. I am a HUGE fan of the 29 grille but the 6" section on that 32 shell makes it. Looks like Mortons Rodzy!

I love your car no matter what you put on it like these other guys. You could put a trash can in front of it would be bitchin. I was a fan of the model a grille cause it was more uncommon to run and look super cool and you pulled it off.

Thanks, Tim --- An extra tenth in the 1/4 would be great... dangerously close to the 11's! :)

    Thanks, Dennis!

    Thanks, guys!

I'm not completely ruling out the TRJ Revival, will see how much vacation time and travel funds I have left. It would be great to come out there again!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words.

I've been chipping away, little by little, making more improvements and finishing items on my to-do list.

If there's anything I struggle with, it's pieces like this transmission tunnel/cover. My good friend, Jason (jho on here), gave me a cast-off piece from his Model A project - the curved part. It fit my car quite well, so I did some trimming, slight reshaping, and made the front angled piece and back vertical.

    Finally, a respectable cover:

It seems like everything that Pinkee's Rod Shop does is very tasteful, stylish and well thought out. Their new Lincoln backing plates are no exception. I did have early F100 brakes up front and decided to try out a pair of their new backing plates. Huge thanks to Eric for working with me on this. I purchased all of the Lincoln brake parts, hubs, drums, etc. from MT Car Products in California. Backing plates are whittled out of aluminum by the guys (Thomas) at Pinkees.

I was initially going to run my square back spindles, but it ended up being easier just picking up a new pair of round backs from Speedway Motors (just 50 miles away from me) with king pins and bushings (installed). The square back spindles are taller at the king pin boss and I had Speedways 'Deluxe' king pin set in them. Probably could have searched around for a short 90 degree grease zerk... But the round spindles look better, anyways. Done deal.

That's all for now. Will update as I get more done.

  24. Looks great Nick, now to get over there and hop in the passenger seat for a spin. Also, we need to talk about getting you some unique original art work of you and the roadster some time.

A little more progress on the Lincoln style front brakes with Pinkees new backing plates.

Modified spindles to fit backing plates (same has to be done with the normal stamped steel backing plates), paint and assembly.
