Hmm.... No full cage. An engine 4" behind me. A gas tank right next to my skull. Sure.

I'd give it a whirl. Where would we be without guys like this? You just need an idea and balls of steel. Just like E.J. Potter and his Widow Maker bikes, I don't think NO was in his vocabulary.

Does the one guy have a gun on his hip. I would drive it, and I wouldn't need a guy with a gun to make sure.

Hell no. I love the hobby but I wouldn't die for it. Those days are gone for me.

I'm just wonding.. For the ones that are saying YES. Would you have the balls to hold it to the floor for a full 1/4 mile pass?

Looks like fun to me. I'd love to do it.

I can't imagine how fast that would feel. A go-cart with a 5hp engine going 25mph feels like you are going 100mph. I would really like to think I would!

  27. I believe Ryan blogged about this a while back. Yes, the guy drove it one time to many.

In answer to question, NO, 50 years ago, maybe Yes. When we see all the old racing Pic's, To say safety has come a long way is an huge Understatement. Old racing expression, "There were Old drivers and Bold drivers, but very few Old-Bold drivers" John
