    Oh man.....that is awesome! I have a soft spot for old dump trucks. I own one now and have had 2 others. I REALLY want a COE dump though. You are going to have fun with this!!!!!

    Those are actually called "Low cab forward" trucks not COEs

    That's actually a '57 Chevrolet LCF (Low Cab Forward). Chevy had actually got away from calling the '55-'59 versions COE's, (Cabover engines), because the cabs were no longer over top of the engine. They were called Low Cab Forwards because the cabs were lower to the ground than the earlier COE's, & moved more forward towards the engine, than the conventional trucks, of the same years. I've owned two of these, a '55, & a '56. That ones short, so it will be a 5100 series (which is "Rare"), unless it's been shortened.

    I bought a 39 Ford pickup from a guy once. Sitting beside it was oneof those style trucks but a long wheelbase and big wooden grain bed on it. It could have been mine for $350. I had to pass but that big pickup would have changed my mind.
