Anyone heard about the "Midway Bar & Grille" in Monoca closing????

Heard it is going to be torn down.

 

I was going to suggest that we wait for better weather and road conditions,but that will only bring comments from Gary saying that we are all a bunch of wimps and the roads and the weather are fine if you are a real hot rodder.

Any time is good for me. Last time some guys ate breakfast,some ate donuts and had coffee. Some people commented it was too early.Like I said I'll bring the beer! What time do you want to start?

Midway has been sold. I think shell oil bought land for proposed cracker plant. they may close as soon as June. Don't know if they are rebuilding elsewhere.

 

Is this a place that we should as a group plan to go to "one last time" before they close?

 

yes, its a nice bimonthly cruise with beer food bikes and cars. I will try to get cruise dates.

 

Ha..... Still heading into the "other direction"..... in addition to a complete "body off" & switch to a "tube chassis" converting it to a "sedan delivery panel" with a chopped top.

PLENTY of work to KEEP me busy for quite awhile.

Look forward to seeing you again & catch up on what's been happening (lots)

Tomorrow is a swap meet in somerset at saylor motors. I think it starts at 8.
