  5. Hey Kev:

You are the "Master of Mercs" - a title I just gave yah and totally deserved! I'll get in line with my 40 Merc for sometime toward the end of year or early next year.

I think I'll have it sent out and then maybe take a week's vacation and come out to "help". Would love to just be around for the process - can do most everything accept your level of metal work. But I can TIG weld, fabricate, help metal finish and dang near anything else!

Totally cool - you're the best!

Leaps and bounds Kevan and she's looking more beautiful everyday. I couldn't be happier with how she's coming on and the excellent work that you are doing.
The drop is going to really help get rid of the ugly bugs!

Now I'm welding up the back window of Nathans Merc and metal finishing the roof panel. Im really happy I was able to reuse the original merc skin because there's nothing better to work with than old Ford/Merc metal!

  12. Just saw this thread...excellent work!!!

  13. Looking real good Nath...I can see why you left the car in kev's hands, excellent work..
Your a lucky sod...you've got a killer A coupe and now having a Merc sled built, two of my wish list cars!
Can't wait to see it over here mate..I recon we need to have a club dinner when it arrives, just so we can all drool over it like Russ's coupe!

You don't look a plonker in the photo's mate......More like a masterbating chimp...I hope you cleaned up when you got out the Merc!......to be fair I'd be exactly the same if it were mine!

Thanks! Im really happy with how Nathans Merc is coming out. The last few days I've been metal finishing the panel above the rear window, adding some bracing to the inside, and fitting the Left sail panel. I got it all tacked in today and ready to weld.

She sits so perfectly, the drop is spot on and brings the chop into perspective. This is going to be one hell of a custom Merc.
I can't even begin to say how happy I am with how she's coming together, Kevan you sir are the Mercury Magician.
