Yeah there is a guy who sells steel aftermarket skirts on ebay and they are pretty good. You will need to modify them slightly to fit.
I think the Aussie Slopers gave the Americans some styling cues for the roofline of the new '39 Merc tudors. And now you guys are making it that much better.
There was a set of original bubble skirts that ended yesterday on Ebay for $360 i believe. I bid on them for a 39 project, but stopped early as I knew i would want to make my own slightly longer anyhow Hans
Thanks Hans. I did buy steel teardrop skirts on Ebay last year for a 48 Poncho. They were nice. If this is the same guy, I'd buy again.
I had one of these in my back yard years ago....always wanted to do what being done, but alas, I traded it for an Olds.....oh, and your skirts are on backwards....kinda look like the ones you bought last year in June.
Not that I'd kick a coupe to the curb, but I think I'd really rather have a sedan (if it looked like this)
Nice work. Looking forward to seeing how you work the ass end of it. Seems like sedan/fastback chops are usually won or lost in the trunk.
Looks good! If you're car turns out anywhere near what Rik's rendering looks like, it will be worth it. I can hardly wait for the updates.
Vic and Kevan, Killer work so far! It's so tough to pull off a sedan chop, but so rewarding when done right. I'm impressed with your work already, perfect amount of chop, and I love how you guys are working the C-pillar area. Can't wait to see more!
there's one sitting in my landlord's garage. Its under all that crap. Behind the straight eight in the way.
