Looking for patch panels for a '34 Master deluxe sedan. I need door and cowl bottoms. Anyone out there have any suppliers? I have searched a little, but thought i'd ask the HAMB'ers.... The rest of this car is good metal, i need door, sill, and cowl bottoms...
Hrw, I looked for a year and could not find any chevy patch panels for those areas on my '34's. Found glass replacement doors and misc. Fords, I found pleanty. Try asking the guy's on the Termites and bowties thread here. I found some used stuff on e-b, but never what I wanted. I ended up fabing my own. I will look at my extra cowl parts and see if I may have any usable bottoms and I will get back to you if I do. Add: I checked over lunch, sorry the three I had were all junk. could you post me some pics of the sills and inside of doors maybe. I dont have any to even look at to fab my own.
@ Slimmy, thanks for the pics! these help a lot! I didnt have any reference of what it should resemble. My body is gone from the middle of the hole in the bottom of the cowl, down, rusted away. Many Thanks!
Glad to help. I'm working on my second one with out a bottom, know what you're going through. If you need more pics PM me. Slimmey Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I forgot to ask, are you working on a 4dr or 2dr sedan? I may have one 2dr door I might be able to pull a pattern off, if it has a bottom. I'll check when it warms up a bit.. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
@Slimmey, Sorry to lag on so many months. i have had other things come up....If there is any way to pull a pattern off of the 2dr sedan that would be awesome. I am working on a 2dr sedan. Life seems to get in the way of building hotrods sometimes!
