These are my girls the one sitting like people and with the ball in her mouth is Tiva An amstaff and Daisy a Pitbull Presa Canario cross

When my life turned to shit these two kept me from shuffling of this mortal coil.

Tiva was always with me in the shop or in my car . She was with me from a pup to just short of 16 yrs . She had a stroke and passed away 2 weeks ago . Both Daisy and I are mourning . The shop just doesn't feel the same .

Gonna spread her ashes at her favorite park in the spring .

Grrr, yea. I think that is what happend to Kyn, the only thing that makes sense. My in-laws had an Amstaff, Jake, who used to sit like that, hilarious. He passed last year and they just recently got two amstaff pups. Little shits...

I had an amstaff in college that sat like that. I do think they want to be people . One of my roommates and I were sitting on the couch eating cereal and watching tv. The dog was between us and sitting like that, then he just leaned back to were we were sitting. His front paws were off the couch too! Just sitting there like we were (no cereal though). We looked at each other and then, laughed our asses off!

shadams, Kendall was a beautiful brindle and white. A great combo. They all will be missed.

Still can't get the little one to go for a ride, so she posed on the running board today..........but ask the Old Lab and she's there in a flash (well as fast as an 11 year old moves )

Thank you! Gunther is our first GSD and we love him! He can be a real pain in the behind but over all he's a great dog. Smart, adapts well, and doesn't eat the furniture! And I think if anyone were to ever mess with the wife or me they'd be in for a world of hurt!

I was doing yard work (instead of working on the truck) and after I was done had a ton of trash to get rid of. So I loaded it in the back of my old ranch truck and decided to take the 30 miles drive to my work and use the dumpster there, and just as I was about to leave I saw my Kyndall poking her head out of the gate with that "can I go" look on her face.

I loaded her up and off we went, spent a good three hours together with the windows down, heads hanging out the window, you know the drill. Got back to the house and had dinner, fed all the mutts and turned in for a movie. Sunday was miserably cold, didnt get out of the thirties and was windy and wet....yuck. Dogs were in the garage all day, didnt pay them much attention as I didnt even get out of my robe all day, even through the worst super bowl of all time....

I had fed the dogs around 7pm and noticed Kyn was laying off her bed and didnt want to eat. I figured she was beat from the ride in the truck and sore, so I gave her some cheese to see how sick she was and she reluctantly took it. Later wouldnt even eat a piece of leftover steak, I knew something was up. My wife called first thing this morning for an appointment and I went on ahead to work. I get the call about 9 that her appointment was at 11 but my wife said she wasnt waiting, Kyn couldnt even walk on her own. I hopped in the truck and hauled butt back and met up with the wife at the vet office.

She stuck around just long enough for me to say my goodbyes and give her one last kiss on the snoot....an absolute kick in the gut. I am still in shock...have no idea what happend. She was by far the best mannered and behaving dog I have ever had, and one of the first two dogs my wife and I got together. From a 8 week old pup to a 12yr old grump she was my dog all the way. My other dogs obviously dont know what the deal is, at least not yet. At least I have them to comfort me...sorry to bum everyone out, thought maybe it would help for me to write this out....

Goodbye Kynny girl, you will be missed....

My old gal had a milestone this Dec. She had her sweet 16.

Of course we had to have a party and invited everyone:

Shes a bit slower, can't do stairs, does not see to well at night, but she still rules the roost with the others!

The 2 pups turn 5 this week.

What a handsome old fella. It's hard for me to read when someone loses their cruisin buddy. I know for me it's a grief that never really goes away. The love of a dog is love in it's purest form.
