Features Hamb 28-29 Club

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by OoltewahSpeedShop, Dec 22, 2012.

  1. Here's mine, 28 Miller Banger, twin carbs, magneto, Halibrand 101 rear, Banger 3 speed box with 39 gears and shifter top. Juice brakes, Bent spoke Kelseys...

Might swap in a T5 and keep the torque tube to make more use of the Miller power :)

What a thread! I'm hoping to get into a 28/29 one day and I'm seeing lots of inspiration here ;)

Great little car. Does everything I ask it to do. It's never once let me down in over 3 years of driving it.
It was built a good friend, Frank Salisbury, in Voorheesville, N.Y.

He is a cool kid. Built robots to compete nationally (with his tech class).
He can build anything. Would have done a lot better job on that car than me if he had done it!
Oh yeh, The girl is great too :)

I picked the body from ThrottleJockey, things were progressing nicely until I got the floor cleaned up. Going to end up replacing the the sub floor.

  28. 2 More Doors: Umm, you need to read the first post of this thread...
"We have a 30-31 Club, but the older brothers got left out. 28-29 Fords are some of the most unique and beautiful cars ever built. Anyone with an early 1928 to a Late 1929 of any body style please post your pictures. We want to see them all." My emphasis.
