    Yeah man I went through the same thing with mine and came up with a boot/inspection cover idea that I made from leather. If your interested shoot me a PM I'd be glad to tool you one up in just about any color of dye. The pictures attached show the work on my shifter that left some of the linkage exposed. I've gotten a lot better with my tooling and edge work. You could fasten with rivets or snaps to match your others.

  2. That turned out really well. Watch those speed humps. That thing is so low caterpillars would have to crawl on their bellies to get under it. Great car! Full credit to you

    Thanks. Speed bumps won't be much of an issue, I've got 6" of travel when I fill the bags.

    car looks awesome in person, and the interior is tasteful and clean. Dean you nailed it the car is perfect. by the way did you end up taking anything home? I know you said you were up against some high dollar cars but I didn't think anything else there was as cool as yours.

    Thanks. Yeah I had to go against some high dollar shop builds and I took 3rd in class. Sunday are the big ISCA awards, I took ISCA street achievement- Traditional vehicle, that was cool
