On my old '67 Plymouth Belvedere I funeral car, I had the tag "DEADONE" for a year or so, then changed it to "WLKGDED" (walking dead) years before the comic book and TV show came about (this, in the early '90s).
I have enjoyed the several license plate threads. Don't mind seeing this one bumped back up. Here is my first 55 plate and also the latest one. Also a shot of my OT daily driver plate. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
While not a vanity plate, I still think this is the coolest plate ever. I bet the people at the California DMV are still kicking themselves for not coming up with it first.
I have some neat plates... But they are a little O/T... 1968 NC tag with numbers RF-442... Its on my 442, and I like to think RF as rat fink since Ed Roth is a big hero of mine.... And 2 1971 plates one is 1-SN and other is 2-SN (strange part is they came from 2 different boxes I found at 2 different sales...)
Found these a few years ago. YOM, now I shouldn't have to answer the "what year is it" question. Hard to tell from pic's but they still have the original dark blue / white paint.
Had a '63 liteweight galaxie (red, naturally) BIG RED 1 In honor of the unit I was in- in Vietnam, '68-69. Now have a '71 mustang mach 1 (supercharged 351 clevon 4 spd. 3.91 locker- street driven. Tagged EEZ-NOW. Later, Matt.
Sorry I just have to share this... License plate fail... My brother has an O/T GTO thats red, with red interior... He decided he needed a custom plate... SOOOO... hes going to exploit that fact that everything is red... F*#&ing RED... Lets put this together like on a plate... since you can only have 8 characters we gotta shorten it... lets do F'ing Red... Now lets put that on a plate...FINGRED ... Your car just got fingered... Now to see how long till he sees it...
Got JW1937 (John Willys 1937) on my Willys and people look at the car and plates and still ask me what year it is, GRRRRRRRRR. JW
