Thanks to H.A.M.B. Found Michael Duda who verified that this is his car that he started showing in primer at the 1961 SPRINGFIELD MASS SHOW.....put the car up in the seventies....And started its path to me in 2002....after spending 30 plus years in a shed.....Went to a friend of his in Florida. Interior was done by Peter Dow of Pete's Upholstery in Vernon, CT on 1964....Still doing research...Forty was "NEVER DRIVEN" because it was a show only trailer queen...HENCE NO RUST. NO COLLISION DAMAGE.... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

You are so right -- why keep it in the garage and save it for the next guy? Drive, drive, and more drive. Cool history confirmation for sure!
I know Mike. This car was stuff of legend because he kept it hidden away for so long. I'm glad to see the car getting a new lease on life! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I was just as surprised as everyone.....looked behind tilt up seat and in tool boxes in trunk before putting it up on a lift.......clean as a whistle.....Got in... and drove her home 1200 miles.......30 plus MPG with 2X4 383 and a 270 9 inch.....Got home and changed to a 370 POSI.....15 MPG....But worth it for the GO and the tire smoke out the fenderwells.....
The world looks a little brighter through the windshield of a 40,nice car, enjoy. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App
