Projects New lease on life for my 1933 Ford pickup

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Chris, Feb 4, 2014.

  1. Got the radiator in, upper hoses made, wiring is done...I just need to hook up the exhaust and run a new fuel line (old line was on the wrong side from being a 4 cylinder originaly...and old line was 100% copper). It's getting very close, hope to have it about wrapped up this weekend!!

Damn Dude.....this is looking so great!! Love this truck. You are so close too!! I'll bet you'll be bombing around the block by the end of this weekend!!!

  3. We will see. It's still crappy-ish weather here so I still have some time. Just trying to take my time and do a decent job.

There just isn't much that is prettier than a freshly built high performance flathead all decked out and waiting first fire. How about a video cranking it up for the first time?

    Very very nice Chris.....as always.

  10. I got the exhaust back on and have the new fuel line nearly done...it was a pain. I ended up havering to drain and pull the tank, but the hard part is over. Just need to hit the parts store for a few more things. She'll be running very soon

  13. Got it done last night. Just gonna double check everything while it's in the air and fire up this weekend. It snowed a ton last night...so I'm still in no big hurry to drive it yet. I do hope to drive it back to my house next week (supposed to get into the 50's)

  29. Buttoned everything up last night and drove my Dad around the block! First drive went great so I loaded Lucy the hound up and drove her home. She did flawless! Here's to a great spring and summer of driving!!
