Very cool. Your design and fabrication skills warrant good, clear documentation. A good older digital camera with at least 5 mp resolution, plus a tripod, are all you need. For under $100 you can find a Nikon Coolpix camera on eBay that will fill the bill. Just make sure it's powered either with AA batteries or model-specific batteries that are available, affordable, and have a charger.

    Here's a link to a good candidate . . .

I really like your work and hope to see more of it.

Nice roadster. Love to banger too, although I am a bit biased towards them. It'd be cool to see it in the flesh if you ever come south of the border.

Doesn't get much better than that. Very nice. Dig the Riley and the caps. I have a set of those but they are unpolished and don't have any mounting clips in them. I was going to run them on my roadster but it would be like putting pantyhose on a pig.

I want to see some more details of this car.

It is really great to see something a bit different. WTG

  15. I have trouble believing any camera is that bad. It looks like the pictures that my 4 year old daughter's cheap camera from Toys-R-Us took. I threw it away and bought her a good one. I didn't want her to turn 10 and ask me why none of her pictures looked good. Any chance you have the resolution set wrong (ask a camera shop)? What type of camera are you using? Regardless of the quality of the pictures the car looks great.

  17. That is probably the problem. I just Googled iPhone 4 resolution and it seems you are probably getting the best it can provide. Actually it is amazing what they can do. Try asking around to see if anyone has a real camera sitting in a drawer that they would give you. The technology for the digital cameras has changed so fast that there are a lot of good but technologically obsolete cameras in drawers.

  18. Looks so fucking cool.

I don't think it was mentioned, but looks like your windscreen frame is on back to front haha.

  19. Another thing I should say in defense of the iPhone camera is that it was not intended the pictures be enlarged to the degree they are in your post. Viewing these pictures on a small screen (like emailing them to another iPhone user) would result in a clear looking picture. Also it is nice to have something available at all times, my camera is usually at home.

  21. I noticed it because the finger pulls are around the wrong way. Looks good with them and the wing nuts in brass I planned on shining up mine like that too.

    Awesome car.

Try cleaning the lens on your iPhone's camera. They collect pocket lint and dirt, which ruins picture quality...

I like your car! I love the Riley head!

And FYI my iPhone don't take that bad pics.
    Keep at it, lad!
Any pics of the inside? 3 pedals and bucket seats, would make me so happy. And I know you are not building it to make me happy

  29. Love the banger, where on the lower mainland are you? Would like to see it up close. Building a banger for my pickup with an original cat iron Winfield head, dual Stromberg 81`s and a Burns intake. Cam is next on the list after I clean up the motor.
