The wheel color is being changed to orange and then I will throw the dog dish caps on. I have the luggage rack to re-install once I finish polishing it up.

Hey chevy guys. do you know if the tailgate of the 49-52 chevy wagons are the same as the 53 and 54. (or where I can look to find the info). I have been away from them but looks like I am getting another but need a tailgate.

after a yr of not owning a long roof, I am back.. picked up a 53 chevy wagon. here is it in all its glory. My plan is to upgrade all the susp, engine and wiring by mid June so I can drive it this summer while my 51 is in the shop getting rust repair done.

 

Thanks. That's what they looked like to me but I've never seen them on a post WWII car before. Never would have thought they'd look so nice.

I just picked up this 64 Belair last week. I found it within 30 miles of home. Besides the repaint and polished Americans, it's all original(283, powerglide, power brakes)

 

Very nice find.

Finally I can post pics!!! Bought this jem in Ok last may 5 for my wifes b day. Fellow club member david73750 hauled it to Tx for me in oct on the way through to day of the drags. Started in on it after the holidays w the help of my Old Souls cc brothers and in a few months here it is. New motor, trans, brakes, lines, wiring, suspension, steering, wheels & tires and she's rollin again for the fist time in over 40 years. Still have alot planned for "Sunshine" yet.
