I just completed this T-bucket using Revell's Ed "Big Daddy" Roth Tweedy Pie kit. Made a few modifications to my own liking.

Those are great. I remember when Ascot had what we called hardtop races. The CRA always put on the best show. Such a shame that palce isn't there anymore.:(

Very cool!!! And that is great that your family is involved with models. My girlfriend is building the Lincoln Futura Concept car.

I have always wanted to post a model build on here for years and I finally have some spare time to share with everybody on the HAMB. Here is something I have been building off and on. It's still not finished but you can see the direction I'm going with it. I ran a XK-E Jaguar steering wheel and seat. The Firestone style ribbed racers are from an old RC-10 electric buggy that I have had since I was a kid. This is a great kit to buy if you haven't already, It's the 1/8 scale 32 kit. There are a lot of extra parts and stuff that comes with the kit. I'm still trying to find some 1/8 scale Austin hydraulic shocks for the front and rear.

    Happy Model Sunday!!!

  19. Better late than never. Currently working on a pair of '34 Fords. First is a "built-up" coupe from ebay and a resin 2 door sedan. I was originally going to build a full fendered version of the sedan but the casting just wouldn't the fenders no matter how much I tried modifying both parts.
I ended up scratchbuilding a frame for the sedan. Also built a rearend with leaf springs for it. The coupe got a rearend and front axle from a '40 Ford kit.

Nice job on the Model A...I just wish that Monagram made their kits in 1/25th scale, like the rest of the industry did.
