Who can tell me more about this car from Lunenburg, Mass. 400 Electric Ave is route 13, just south of King's Corner. The Flying "A" station there had an orange Willys

I think Jim Desardins had the orange one but im not sure of that he couldve had this yellow one i will ask him when i see him. If this one was the one Rusty owned then Jimmy had it and it was the purple one thats been on the streets the last few years.

Here is another picture of the Speedway Custom & Speed Shop Willys. The photo is from Sanford in June of 64. I would like to know more about this shop, but this is what I do know. The Willys was built and driven by George DeBonis and Don Morin. I have also seen a b/w picture of a Henry J that was lettered up with the same Speedway Custom lettering. Hopefully someone has more to add.

Wow that is a serious bumper/weight bar on that car.

Awesome pic Jack. Thanks for the info. Dave Simard told me about the two competing Willys coupes at opposing gas stations at King's Corner.

  7. Anyone find pictures of Eddie the Savage Sarno running his nailhead powered motorcycle through the traps at N.E.D?

Hey Todd, I remember it well when it was green. He would lift the front left wheel slightly taking off. Also remember it sporting a Georgia<?> license plate, maybe it's origin<?> it was a nice car. Thanks for letting me know it is the same car that's in the photo, when I saw the name Morin, I figured it was but wasn't sure.Actually got to sit in it years ago, when it was in a body shop in Stoughton. At least i think it was the same car, only green one i remember around here. Thanks for the cool old info! Nice talking to you at the mid winter show.

Ran out of NE Dragway pics, but found some more negatives from an earlier time from Sanford (best I can tell). Anyone remember any of these cars ?

Here is the guy I bought the 62 Corvette from. He sold Wynn's Oil products, if I remember correctly. Along with the car I got an envelope with a few old pictures and a pile of negatives ( mostly Sanford and early N E Dragway pics) which I had made into prints. To make a long story short, I forget the guy's name I bought the Corvette from. I think he is the one who took all these great ,old pictures. I think this may be him in these pictures. Any of you guys recognize this face from the past ?
