True, but needs a stance change and wheels and tires to go with it. Needs some minor body work too.

Thanks bro! I'll verify that. I had paint that came with the car, but the words are too faded to read.

Wow that looks WAY better. Man...I'd just chop the top a little, new wheels/tires, 32 grille shell, and rock the shit out of it. I'd leave the body alone its so nice!

I agree but I think the A shell should stay, it looks "right" on that car.

I'm up in the air as far as a 32 shell. I do like the 29 shell, don't know yet.

I'm thinking I agree! I'll rock it this way for a bit. See what happens.

My friend Travis' car is the reason why I suggest the 32 shell even though there are plenty of cars that look just as good with the A shell.

Everyone puts a 32 shell on but there are some great cars that just look perfect with the stock shell. Your roadster is one of them. I would run a set of 18 inch 32 wires on the back with some 17 inch 33-34 wires on the front. It would look correct on that car.

I checked this car out during the ROG. It has the perfect chop!

It would, but I'm not sure on wheel choice yet. I'd really like to use these 46 Ford center caps I already have. Tires will be black wall. I have to stop looking at pictures on here, making the decision harder. Lol

Looking at that picture, I'd put a t spring in the rear, a 32-6 axle up front, ditch the cowl lights, swap to 17 or 18" wires and cut the top, windshield and stanchions down a couple inches.

Yup. Got the T spring. Going to go a little lower in the front than a stock 32-36 axle will get me. Cowl lights are no doubt gone. Wheels, don't know yet. Not sure how much is coming out of the windshield. Going to rake is a bit too.
    Just made these.

Removed the cowl lights and mounted the headlights back on. Going to be a busy winter.

Fellas! I'm torn! Need some opinions here....rear suspension. Lower the car with a T rear spring or do a spring behind rear? I'm leaning towards spring behind due to the fact I can run a A rear spring and get a little better ride from it. Moving the rear crossmember back is not a problem. Anybody have any pros or cons on spring behind versus T spring on top?

Alright, so I'm starting to redo the trans. Out of a 35 Ford. Never been open, looks to be low miles. Not much wear. It's a 48 series case. I'm reusing all but the two main bearings. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1389411337.111130.jpg

  21. I'll be happy if my roadster looks 1/2 that cool when I'm done.

    I like it.

#11 is baaad to the bone, and yours... let the purists buy the leftovers and fund the build. This thing's going to be more fun pizza and beer for breakfast! Too cool. It's guys like you that keep the heritage alive.

Thanks man! I guess some of these guys don't like the fact I'm hot rodding this car, but I did save a nice truck! That went to an antiquer. This will be a nice car when done!

for me it'd just be a couple of inches out of the ride height and call it done (bar the engine mods of course)

edit: that is supposed to be the pic of it complete from half way up the page.

Yeah man, that's a sweet roadster! I have some much to do. Trans is rebuilt and painted. It's something! Lol ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1392848565.754688.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1392848581.887744.jpg
