Got the tinted Polycarbonate windows in today. Have not mounted them, just put them in to see how they look. Interseting thing I found out is this material is 250 times stronger than glass! Also known by trade names such as Lexan, Tuffak, Makrolon.

Moving forward slowly. Got the jute laid down today. Just waiting on the carpet.

I'm trying to come up with a different center counsel design. But I keep getting the same version I had before just a little longer. I guess no use reinventing the wheel. Not sure yet. Maybe I'll see what I come up with after the carpet is installed...

One door down one to go. The black on black is nice and subtle but really hard to paint.

Yes, trying to make it more presentable... Not sure if I'm making any progress.

    Ya sounds cool to me.

  12. What are the dates, the Counts don't really know how to get the word out. Unless you are into Ice Cream Socials.

I got the Trinidad Carpet in today. Because the tranny tunnel next to the fire wall is so big I needed to make the relief cuts next to the shifter. So just make sure, I sewed up a template piece first. I don't want to screw up a $250 piece of carpet. Next I'll cut and sew the real piece.

Got the Driver side kick panels in and the carpet is cut and laid down. I need to glue it down and bind the edges...

I was all excited to get the carpet in today. Everything was going great. Glued it all down and went to go put in the seats and the bolt holes didn't line up. I thought maybe I grabbed the wrong seat. WRONG!! With the extra 1/2 of Jute on the tranny tunnel threw off my bolt alignment. I knew I was tight but, WOW that sucks. I had to rip up all the carpet and cut out the piece of jute so the seats would go back in. But it looks like ass with only the one piece cut out. I'm so pissed off I'm just going to stop for the day....

Never mind they DELETED my post on the van build!
To bad these Computer Hot Rod builders could have learned something about all the Fabrication I put into this project! Looks like I'll go join a Lowrider Website, maybe I can learn something. Isn't that what it's all about???
