Projects Need ideas on traditional or unique Nerf Bars

I am building a 32 pickup and I dont want to use the stock front bumper.
You guys always have great ideas on unique or traditional stuff, so here is my dilema.

I need an idea on a cool set of nerf bars, or whatever you guys call these things.
Here is a pic of a plain traditional type




I like these, but I want something a little different, like V8s or something like that.
Pictures of ones you have seen, drawings or just ideas would be great.

If you see pics of a unique set, and then copy them, they won't be very unique anymore, lol. Time to put your thinking cap on.

 

All the ones I have seen are just bent pipe.
I was hoping for something out of the box.
And dont worry, I wont copy it, just looking for ideas.

 

But,....they wouldn't be traditional then, would they?
