You can louver or put holes in them but I personally like them bolted on as original...

My visor where the nail/screw holes are at was trimmed back like they were going to weld it on for some reason. Only having about half a hole. What i just got done doing was welding nuts on the back side of the header and then welding a washer to the visor when i bolted it up. So now i can bolt it on. Easier access to the windshield if ever need be.

Rusty i like the 30-31 visor on your car. Mine is a 28-9 visor. I agree on welding the 30-1 up and molding them in. They do look good that way.

I can remove the windshield by just removing the visor and sliding the hinge out sideways.
Couldn't do that if the visor was welded in.

If you weld it down in stock location you can't slide the windshield out but if you put it at the top you can still slide the windshield out of the hinge from the side.

I welded mine in then cut it back off. I then rolled the front edge down to a quarter inch plate that I drilled and tapped. So I can bolt the visor in from the bottom an sides. It makes life a lot easier when tring to change the windshield.

I've raised the header in my car, so it'd be impossible to remove it by sliding it out of the hinge.
